The Surgeon

Trained at the Highest Level. Focused on You.

Sean Arredondo was born and raised in San Antonio. He studied at the University of the Incarnate Word, where he was selected for the Early Medical School Selection Program with Boston University. After graduating, he returned to Texas for medical school at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston’s Texas Medical Center.

What followed was nearly a decade of training at some of the most respected surgical programs in the country: a five-year general surgery residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, then a three-year plastic surgery fellowship at The Ohio State University. His dual board certification in plastic and general surgery comes out of that foundation — a thorough understanding of anatomy and the judgment that guides every decision, in and out of the operating room.

His interest in plastic surgery took hold during residency, assisting with cancer reconstructions and trauma cases where surgery did more than change how someone looked. It gave people their sense of self back. That’s stayed with him, and it’s what he offers to his patients. His approach comes down to one idea: great surgery is personal. The right procedure, for the right person, at the right time.
